Testosterone
Testosterone is the primary sex hormone and anabolic steroid in males. Testosterone plays an important role in the development of male reproductive tissues, such as the testicles and the prostate, as well as secondary sexual characteristics such as increased muscle and bone mass, and body hair growth. This hormone is principally produced in the testicles; its levels start to increase during puberty, and begins to decrease around age 40. Testosterone is often associated with sex drive, and plays a vital role in sperm production. Testosterone levels also affect the structure of the body, body fat storage, red blood cell production, and muscle mass in men, as well as mood. Test-Up has been formulated by MD Logic Health to promote healthy testosterone levels.*
