Colostrum is the first milk a cow makes after giving birth, with far more antibodies and growth factors than regular milk. Here's how ours gets from the farm to your scoop.
From farm to scoop
- 1Healthy herdsHolstein cows on USDA and FDA certified US farms, fed a nutrient-rich diet and never treated with hormones, pesticides or antibiotics.
- 2Calf firstA cow makes about 5 to 10 L of colostrum per milking. Her calf drinks the 3 to 4 L it needs first. We collect only the surplus.
- 3Tested at collectionEvery collection is tested for antibiotics and rejected if any are found.
- 4Tested on arrivalTested again when it arrives at our manufacturing facility, before it is made into a single jar.
- 5Third-party testedThe finished product is tested for pesticides, heavy metals and mold in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited lab.

Calves come first. Always.
A newborn calf needs 3 to 4 L of colostrum in its first hours of life. A healthy cow makes about 5 to 10 L of colostrum per milking, significantly more than one calf can drink. The calf always drinks first, and we collect only what's left over.
A healthy cow makes 5 to 10 L per milking
Why colostrum, not milk?
Colostrum is made in the first few days after birth. Compared with mature milk, it is richer in antibodies, growth factors and protein, and lower in lactose.
- USDA and FDA certified US farms
- No hormones, pesticides or antibiotics
- Antibiotic tested at collection
- GMP compliant processing
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited lab testing
- Made in the USA
A note from our pharmacist
Colostrum works where it lands: in your gut. That's why I care more about consistency than timing. Take one scoop with room temperature water on an empty stomach to allow the bioactive compounds like immunoglobulins and growth factors to absorb more efficiently before digestion or take it with a meal if you experience stomach upset as a first-time user.

Questions, answered.
When should I take it?+
Take one scoop with room temperature water on an empty stomach to allow the bioactive compounds like immunoglobulins and growth factors to absorb more efficiently before digestion or take it with a meal if you experience stomach upset as a first-time user.
What does it taste like?+
Mild and lightly milky. It mixes smoothly into cool water, a smoothie, cold brew or a protein shake.
Can I take it with a probiotic?+
Yes. Many customers pair Colostrum with a daily probiotic. Colostrum supports the gut environment, and probiotics add beneficial bacteria.*
Is it OK if I'm sensitive to dairy?+
Colostrum is a dairy product and contains milk, so do not use it if you have a milk allergy. It is naturally lower in lactose than regular milk. If you're lactose sensitive, ask your healthcare provider and consider starting with half a scoop.
Are the calves harmed?+
No. Colostrum is collected only after the calf has fed, so we use surplus colostrum from US dairy farms.
When will I notice a difference?+
Everyone is different. The clinical studies ran from 2 to 12 weeks, so give it at least a few weeks of consistent, daily use.
Why no hot drinks?+
Heat can break down the delicate bioactive proteins, like IgG and lactoferrin, that make colostrum work. Room-temperature water or cool beverages like smoothies keep them intact.
Your gut's first line of defense starts with one scoop.
